AI Reporting Tool-Beta Version

Use our new AI Report tool to get custom reports about visits

Written by Rocio Solis

We have built a new AI-tool with the goal to allow Nursebuddy users to generate custom reports based on visits information.

Understanding What You Can Ask the AI Tool

Our AI assistant can help you quickly analyse, summarise, and explore your organization’s Visit and Event data.

Below is a complete breakdown of the data types, metrics, and filters available to the AI, along with example prompts you can try.

Data Overview

At a glance, the AI has access to top-level visit and event details, including planned times, reported check-in/out times, durations, assigned carers, and clients.

To protect privacy, individual client or employee IDs are never sent to or processed by the AI in chat conversations. Specific client, carer, or team filtering can still be applied directly within the widget settings UI.

Information of medications, tasks, visit notes or mileage is not included in this version.

-Use prompts to explore useful report ideas:

-Use your own prompts:

It can happen that your custom prompts don't generate a satisfactory response. But your custom prompts will still be very helpful to us to understand what type of information you are looking for so we can continue improving this tool.

6. Set dashboard-level options

  • Choose a timeframe for the dashboard.

  • Decide whether to use the default date range for all widgets.

  • From the dashboard, you can also:

    • add another widget

    • archive the dashboard

7. Customise an individual widget

  • Open a widget’s three-dot menu and go to Widget settings.

  • In widget settings, you can:

    • change the view type

    • edit the title

    • review the description

    • adjust the time range

    • the query being used

    • the filters applied

  • You can also toggle options such as:

    • show empty periods as zero

    • compare previous periods

  • Click Save or Cancel when finished.

Note: if the dashboard date range is enabled, it will override the widget’s own date range.

To use a widget-specific date range, disable the dashboard date range.

8. Reorder widgets within a dashboard

  • Use the arrow controls to rearrange widgets in the dashboard.

  • This lets you organise the dashboard in the order that makes the most sense for you.
