If your council uses CM2000 you can get your Nursebuddy account syncing with your CM2000 account.

Nursebuddy CM2000 Integration Service is used to send Nursebuddy carer, client and visit data to CM2000 service.

Integration Service uses CM2000 Standard Integration API. The integration data is sent to the CM2000 FTP server as CSV files and uses an encrypted communication channel to ensure that the data is safely transferred to the FTP server.

Nursebuddy CM2000 Integration Service is available to all UK and Ireland customers.

Nursebuddy doesn't offer or include the costs of the CM2000 software. You need to contact your local council to see what options they offer or contact CM2000 directly.

How Nursebuddy CM2000 Integration works

Nursebuddy CM2000 Integration runs once per hour and automatically sends the modified carer, client and selected visit data to CM2000 service. If the data is changed in Nursebuddy, the integration will resend the modified data to the CM2000 service.

After the initial configuration, the integration automatically sends the data of all clients and carers from Nursebuddy to CM2000 service. Subsequently, the visits are also sent to CM2000 service.

By default all type of invoicing products are sent over to CM2000. If you want to filter what visits are sent to CM2000 please select these using the filter option in the menu. Read the entire article to learn how to do this before to activate the CM2000 integration.

Preparing for CM2000 Integration

CM2000 integration can be configured to any UK/Ireland Nursebuddy account. To set up the integration you need to obtain FTP username and password from your CM2000 software provider or from your local council. This information is used to set up the FTP credentials in Nursebuddy.

Please read carefully the following steps:

I want to send only specific client's visits to CM2000

1- Create the invoice product or products that will be specifically used for the council package

2- Make sure that all the visits that you need to send to CM2000 have these invoice products added. Check each of these service user's visits and visit recurrences to check no visits are being left with the correct invoice product

3-In the integration you will need to select what products you want to export to CM2000, this is how the system will define what visits to send over. If you don't select this in the integration by default ALL VISITS OF ALL INVOICE PRODUCTS will be exported to CM2000.

You need to have an admin user to set up your CM2000 integration

Activating the CM2000 Integration

  1. Go to your Settings page from the left-hand menu.

  2. Select Integrations.

  3. Click on CM2000

  4. Enable the toggle button and fill out the details from your CM2000 account.

  5. The system will ask for you contact information to alert you of any errors in processing the data.

  • CM2000 FTP Server Username Obtained from your Care Management or local council contact person. This is required for the integration to work.

  • CM2000 FTP Server Password Obtained from your Care Management or local council contact person. This is required for the integration to work.

  • Products to send List of products in Nursebuddy. Only visits with the selected products are sent to CM2000. By default all products  with or without product are sent.

  • Send notifications SMS’s to mobile phone Phone number to send messages if something went wrong with CM2000 integration

  • Latest data transfer to CM2000 Shows date when was the last time data was exported to CM2000

  • CM2000 Integration version You can choose Standard or LiveIntegrate integration version.

Standard Integration export

Visit times that are sent are actual (reported) times. Visit that are sent have status as ‘Completed’

Live integrate export

Visit times that are sent are planned times. Visit that are sent have status as ‘Upcoming’ or ‘Canceled’

Client and carer data is the same in both options

At the moment the integration only send one type of data to CM2000: Only planned or only actual (reported).

Visit filtering

Setting the earliest allowed planned time to a value prevents any visits with planned start time prior to that value being sent to CM2000 service. Only the visits that have planned start time after the set value are sent to CM2000 service. By default the earliest allowed planned time is set to the date the CM2000 integration service is taken into use. This can be changed with Send only visits planned after option in integration settings

You have the option to send only specific visits to CM2000 by creating invoicing products exclusively for the designated council or local authority. More information on how to create invoicing products can be found here. These products will then be added to the visits or recurring visits of the selected clients.

On the Integration page, you will be able to select these products from a list to ensure that only visits with these products are sent to CM2000.

By default all invoicing products are sent to CM2000. Please make sure that you have created the specific products for the council and added these to the visits and visit recurrences of the clients you want to share the information and filter these in the CM2000 integration in Nursebuddy.

Note that the visit product type filter must be reconfigured if a new product is added to Nursebuddy and the visits with that product type should be sent to CM2000 service.

Once you've enabled the integration, the system will periodically send over all your client, carer and visit data to your CM2000 account. Data of both upcoming and completed visits will be sent.
