You can easily renew a past medication that a GP has prescribed again. This is a simple, effective way to bring a medication back to the active list without having to set up a brand new one.

  1. Go to the client's profile, select the Medication tab, and click into the Past Medicine list.

  2. Find the specific medicine you want to renew and click the โ‹ฎ (3 dots) at the end of its row and click on ''Edit medicine''

3. Check for updates: The system might ask if you want to use a newer version of that medicine if one exists in the database.

  • If you want to use the newer version, just follow the instructions in the message.

  • If you still want to renew the past version, click 'Renew'

  • Select the date when this medication will be active again.

  • Make any changes to the information (dosages, rates, additional instructions, etc.) if required.

  • Click 'Save'.

The medication will now appear in the Active Medicine list, ready for your team to administer.
