The old Nursebuddy app will stop working on Monday March 20th. To make the transition easier, we have compiled answers to some frequently asked questions.
How to download the new app?
The new app is called Nursebuddy for Carers and you can find it from your phone’s app store or directly through the links below:
I can’t find the new app in the app store?
If you are unable to find the new app, it might be due to the following reasons:
The app is not supported on your device.
Android versions above 5.0 are supported
iOS versions above 13 are supported
Your app store is registered in a country where the app is not available. You can change the registered country in the app store settings, further instructions from the links below:
What to do with the old app?
It is recommended for carers to delete the old app, it will not work from March 20th onwards.
How to login?
You can log in to the new app with the same credentials you have used to log in to the old one and start using the new app immediately. Any visits assigned to you will be displayed there automatically.
Does browser login for carers still work?
Yes, carers are still able to log in through the browser normally.
Our carers are used to the old app and it is working well, can we keep using it?
Unfortunately no - the old app is no longer getting preventive maintenance, and all of our resources are focused on the new app. Any issues reported in the old app won't be fixed. The new app's technology is superior and it will allow us to implement nice and useful features.
Can family members still use the old app?
Yes. Even though the old app will be disabled for carers, family members and other contacts will still be able to use the old app to log in to the family portal. Please note that family members cannot use the new app.
