Even in case of an emergency, your carers are still able to do visits

Our emergency backup system ensures that carers and managers can see all upcoming visits that have been assigned, at all times, even when there is a disruption in the system.

Please bookmark this site: backup.nursebuddy.fi

Note that this is a read-only system for emergencies and it cannot be used for logging visits or assigning new visits at times when things are normal.

If the system is experiencing an outage, Nursebuddy’s support team will send you instructions to start using this backup portal.

How does it work?

  • Both carers and managers can log in using their normal credentials at: backup.nursebuddy.fi.

  • Carers can use the Chrome browser on their mobile device, not the native app.

  • Carers are able to view assigned visits, visit instructions, services, medication information, and so on. They can also print and copy the list to the clipboard, if needed.

  • Carers will always know which clients to visit but they will not be able to log their visits or report services in this portal.

  • Managers are able to view the same information as carers. Additionally, they can view the visits for all carers at once or one at a time:

What happens after the incident?

Our support team will inform your company when the system status has been restored and you can continue using the system as normal to log visits.

Any visits completed during the outage should be updated manually afterwards.
