Nursebuddy's electronic MAR charts allow your carers to add clients' medications directly to the system.

You must add the "Medication Administration" task to your client's visits in the client's calendar if your carer will need to administer medication during the visit.

Doing this enables use of the eMAR functionality in the mobile app, and allows carer's to report which medications were taken.

eMAR Reporting

Once you've added the "Medication Administration" as a task to your visits, carers will be able to tick off when they've administered a medication, and that time stamp will be automatically reflected on the system.

If medication wasn't given during the visit, carer's are prompted to give a reason. This will all feedback to your eMAR reports as part of your client profiles. The number in the red circle indicates the reason why medication wasn't administered, and so at a glance you will be able to instantly see what's been given, or missed, along with the reason why.

PRN medication can be found just below the medication list in a separate section, and medications can be indicated as given and will have a green circle on the day it was administered.

If you wish to change the colour coding of your eMAR charts just reach out to the support team who can update this for you.

Your client's eMAR report is very clear and easy to understand, it can also be downloaded for office use.
