Logging In to the Family Portal

You are able to use Family Portal access via the website only. There is no app for Family portal.

  • Go to the login page: https://login.nursebuddy.fi.

  • Enter the login details provided by the home care provider, or the ones you created using the invitation link.

  • You will see the main screen after logging in.

If you run into issues, try these quick checks:

  • Verify Password Complexity: Ensure your password meets the complexity standards (a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters).

  • Check Your Email: Look in your spam or junk folder for any reset emails. Also, check your email settings to ensure communications from Nursebuddy aren't marked as spam.

  • Contact Your Care Company: For security reasons, Nursebuddy can't directly manage family accounts. Reach out to your care company for assistance or to request a username and PIN for login.

Using the Family Portal Features

Once logged in, the portal provides quick access to client information and care activities.

Main Client Profile View

On the left side of the screen, you can view key information:

  • The client's contact details.

  • A summary of their care plan and services.

  • Other contacts and any medications listed.

Diary Tab

The Diary tab is the communication hub:

  • It shows diary notes left about visits, along with any notes left by carers.

  • You can click a visit to expand it and see more information.

  • You can also input notes for your care provider if they have enabled this feature.

Calendar Tab

The Calendar tab helps you track scheduled care:

  • It shows the client’s visits.

  • You can navigate between weeks using the arrow buttons.

  • You can switch between a 1-week, 2-week or 4-week view.

  • If you hold your cursor over a visit, you can view more details about it, such as the carer assigned, the tasks and the status of the visit (cancelled, started, completed).

Care Plan Tab

The Care Plan Tab allows you to easily view all the details of the client's care plan, helping you simplify your review process:

  • View All Categories: You get access to all the different categories that make up the client's care plan.

  • Prioritise Urgency: The tab clearly indicates the urgency of different categories:

    • Urgent

    • Require attention

    • Not urgent

    Detailed View: You can see the full details of each category, which provides a very good view of the overall care for the client.

Multiple Contacts

If you have access to more than one client's profile (like a social worker, GP, or healthcare contact), you can switch between profiles using a drop-down menu that appears at the top left of the screen.

Logging Out

You can log out using the Logout button at the top right of the page.
