The mobile app has 3 different places to write notes, these are Visit notes, Diary messages and pinned notes.

There are 3 types of notes:

  1. Visit notes - Notes carers add about the ongoing visit.

  2. Diary notes - Carers, managers, and family portal users (depending on your settings) can add general notes on the client's diary feed. These notes will not be linked to any visits in particular.

  3. Pinned notes - These notes should be used as a handover as they become 'pinned' to a client's profile until dismissed. Once dismissed they are visible on the diary feed but won't no longer show as pinned. Both carers and manager can leave pinned notes.

  4. Notes are also archived in the reports section so they can be accessed in the future.

Visit Notes

1. Once the visit is started a carer can write notes about the visit itself. E.g showering service not completed as client washed earlier.

2. Click on the microphone icon to use the voice record function

Diary Messages

1. Open the client's profile by clicking on their picture. In the lower-right corner click on the green dot with the + symbol. There you can add diary notes and also pin notes.

2. In case the carer wants to check the diary to see if managers or family members have left messages relevant to this client, they can open the diary (in the client's profile next to their picture) and look through the diary feed.

2. Visit notes are also archived in the reports section so they can be accessed in the future.

Pinned Notes

Pinned notes left by carers or managers can be seen from the visit view and from the client's profile.

  1. Click on the + symbol in the Pinned notes box to add a new pin note.

2. If the carer need to dismiss a pinned note that is not longer relevant this can be done by clicking on the pin crossed symbol. The pinned note will remain in the diary feed and managers can see who dismissed it and the time and date.
