Carer file attachments

Managers can share important documents that the carer can view on the mobile app

The manager can upload file attachments to a carer's profile, for them to view on the Nursebuddy for Carers mobile app.

File attachments can improve the information flow in your company in many ways: for example, by sharing documents to help onboard new carers or to share internal processes and guidelines.

Before you start, remember this about the visibility of different types of carer information:

  • Manager notes are always internal notes that the carer cannot access in any way.

  • File attachments can be visible for the carer and you can set the viewing permissions file by file.

Uploading an attachment

  1. Select the carer of your choice and go to: People > Carers > File attachments.

  2. Click Add file attachment.

  3. Select if you want to share the file with the carer or not.

  4. Browse to find the file from your computer:

  5. The file is added to the list. The small checkmark will help you identify at a glance if the file of viewable on the mobile app or not:
