Some companies operate in different areas (e.g south, north) or they provide services to different types of customers (e.g private, council) and in those cases having the staff and service users split can help to manage the service.

With Nursebuddy you can organise your carers and clients into teams and when you select from the menu one of them, the system will show you the information of the specific team. This applies for the scheduling page, People list and Reports.

Creating Teams

1- To create a team you go to Settings>General Settings> Teams or use the drop down menu located under the Nursebuddy Logo and your company name:

2- Create the name of your teams in a way that is familiar for you and select a colour for each team.

3- After that, select one of the teams by clicking on the name and then you can start adding your clients and carers into it by hovering over the names until the Click to add appears

Clients and Carers can only be added to one team, if you need that a carer works for 2 teams you can add it later on from the Scheduling page.

4-When you have added all the clients and carers into teams, click Save

Using Teams along the system

Scheduling page

When you select All Teams from the drop down menu on your left, the system will show all the carers and service users everywhere in the system, the scheduling page will look like this:

When you select only one team, those are the carers and clients who will appear in the view:

Carers colour code will appear automatically, for client's colour code you would need to tick the box from Actions menu> Show Client team colours

If you need to add a carer that doesn't belong to the team to the scheduling page to work with this team, you can do it by using the button +Add to add the carer to the scheduling page.

Please note that after you added a carer using the add button you can't remove them

Reports

Using Teams to generate reports can help you to load the reports faster. You can first select the team from the Team menu and then proceed to generate the Reports for clients or carers. The same applies for Payroll reports.

Restrict manager access to specific teams

Admin users can define what managers will have access to which team info (for scheduling, reports, people list, etc)

Open the manager profile from the People list and select from the drop down menu Team Access to what teams you want to give them access and click Save:
