The dairy feed is the place where every activity for the client will be saved. As a manager, you can write notes that will be visible to all NurseBuddy users.

All past visits with a client and the corresponding notes will be recorded from the most recent to the oldest.

Three types of notes

Note Type

Description

Who Can Use It

Visit notes

Notes that carers add about the ongoing visit

Carers

Diary notes

General notes added to the client's diary feed. These notes won't be linked to any visits in particular.

Carers, managers, and family portal users (depending on your settings).

  1. Pinned notes

Notes that should be used as a handover as they become 'pinned' to a client's profile until dismissed.

Both carers and managers.

When a carer leaves a pinned note for a client's visit, any next carers visiting the same client will see it in the app and managers will see it in the web portal.

Editing Pinned Notes

In case the information entered contains any mistakes, pinned notes can be edited from the web portal or mobile app.

  • Any edited note will show (edited) next to the text, so it's easy to identify where changes were made.

  • This is a great tool for effective communication within your team!
